Building Renovation Shows

Something we thoroughly enjoy doing here at Modarc and always make time for is attending shows. The shows that we attend are specifically for people looking to self-build, renovate, convert or extend their home.

Some of the shows we have visited over the years are:

·     Homebuilding & Renovating

·     Architects at Work

The show’s host a variety of local and national services/expertise ranging from manufacturers of SIPs, MMC blocks and timber frame specialists to the finer details inside such as light fittings and heaters. It is a fantastic way to meet the suppliers and professionals in their sector face to face, discuss with them your project and receive personalised advice. There can be hundreds of brands under one roof, which will save you cost and time on travelling to the suppliers/specialists separately. This is a great way to source new materials coming to the market and innovative new building systems, something that we are passionate about.

At most of these shows, you are able to attend seminars for free throughout the day to learn more about a specific product/system. These seminars are found on a time table inside the show, so we strongly recommend checking out the board as soon as you arrive, so that you can schedule your day and view any seminars which are of interest to you.

We have been fortunate to meet many exhibitors at these shows who we now work closely with to give our clients the best options for their new build or extension. 

We have attended these shows as visitors sourcing new contacts, however in the near future we will exhibit our own business and offer free consultations and further architectural services to self-builders. We look forward to seeing you there!
